Foam Below Ground: In the Bunker that Won WW2!

So, as promised, we return to UCAP Bunker, the WW2 bunker complex that, as some have now seen, provides epic CQB and one hell of a site.

Last time went excellently, and I'm hoping to make this the same, if not better! However there are changes that have been/are being made.

Friday evening, 20th of March - Doors open at 1800, game on 1900, end 2200.

Foam Below Ground – The Rules:

These rules have been put together to ensure fair and fun play inside the bunker. These rules may be subject to minor changes based on how our game day goes.

A reminder to ALL players is that boots and full-length legwear is mandatory under all circumstances. This is part of the bunker’s insurance terms.

If it wasn’t obvious, eye protection is mandatory. Full face protection is required for under 18s. WEAPONS AND KIT:

  • -  All weapons/blasters are to be 1 Joule.

  • -  All ammo types are permitted (half length, full length, mega, rival, vortex etc.) and all

    propulsion methods are permitted (spring, flywheel, AEB, HPA etc.)

  • -  Cap grenades are permitted.

  • -  DO NOT use hard-tipped ammunition (vinyl/plastic tipped darts etc.)

  • -  Full-auto is permitted, but please use short and controlled bursts.

  • -  Torches on your weapons are permitted and RECOMMENDED, please ensure they are not too

    bright, they do not require a red filter.

  • -  SMALL shields are permitted. Nothing larger than half-body sized.

  • -  NO LASERS.

    GAMEPLAY:

  • -  A hit anywhere on your body or weapon is a tag. If tagged, shout ‘HIT’ and raise your hand.

  • -  Your shield blocks any ammunition below a mega. A mega will tag you, a mega XL or

    demolisher rocket will tag you and temporarily remove your shield from the game.

  • -  If you are tagged, DO NOT give your team any information. Call out as you cross corridors back

    to respawn, otherwise you are likely to be shot.

  • -  Avoid deliberate headshots. However, if you only present your head as a target, you are liable.

  • -  If using a shield, DO NOT run with it. Be careful with your shield, there’s lots to get it stuck on.

  • -  Ricochets do not count as a tag. Not unless it is specifically a Vortex round.

  • -  Grenades are a 5 metre kill radius, unless behind HARD cover. Shields DON’T block grenades.

  • -  Please avoid shining torches in people’s faces where possible.

  • -  Grenades MUST be thrown underarm, dart thrown, or bowled. Do not throw them overarm.

  • -  Team challenges/calls do not have to answered, but you CANNOT lie.

  • -  Friendly fire counts as a tag.

  • -  Melee weapons are not allowed, HAND TAGS are allowed however.

  • -  DO NOT BLIND FIRE. This is a safety risk.

    D.B.A.D:

  • -  Do not cheat call.

  • -  Do not overshoot players.

  • -  Do not deliberately friendly fire.

  • -  Banter is fine, verbal abuse is not.

  • -  Do not barge past or forcibly move other players.

  • -  Do not grab other players’ weapons.

  • -  Do not disobey mods.

  • -  Deliberately running a hot weapon will get you sent home on the spot.

  • -  Try to play the objective, if there is one.
